Snap Briefing: Crossbench’s Electoral Amendment Bill 2024

Crossbench has moved an Electoral Amendment Bill into the federal parliament.

The bill seeks to introduce changes in electoral laws to improve transparency in the electoral process. However, it also contains some provisions that are likely to negatively impact the charity sector’s participation in the electoral process.
